Hello partnered with Amazon to design a website for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, creating a digital destination for existing and prospective fans with a new visual language that extends the show for events, activities, and promotions.
We brought the world of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel to life, featuring best-in-show moments, highlighting the work of the cast and creative team, designing an online hub for the latest news and events, and creating a visual language that was entirely unique to the series. On average, visitors from around the world spent more than 10 minutes on the website, which is 400% more than the industry average.
Inspired by the colorful world of the 1960s, we developed a visual language that complements the vibrant and glamorous settings of the series, designing illustrations and a color palette that seamlessly blend vintage flair with modern sensibilities. As users scroll through the page, these illustrations spring to life with whimsical animations, inviting viewers to learn more about the making of the series.

We designed micro-interactive features to offer a deeper dive into the world of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, letting visitors spin records with original music from the series, have their fortunes read by Madame Cosma, scan the airwaves for Midge’s latest radio ads, and watch the best moments from Season 3. Reaching out to awards voters, we integrated video interviews with the cast and creative team to break down the series’ writing, direction, and cinematography just in time to fill out their ballots.
Letting users spin original music from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, our record player has all the vinyls you could want, with breakout hits from Shy Baldwin and The Silver Belles. Showcasing the series’ nominations for Outstanding Music & Lyrics, the record player lets users spin their way into the world of Maisel.
If you’re looking for a glimpse into your future, look no further than Madame Cosma’s crystal ball. Visitors can click on the crystal ball to see their fortunes, from the consequences of a poor career choice to your chances of meeting a tall, dark mensch.
Looking to make an extra paycheck or two, Midge Maisel becomes the go-to gal for radio ads in Season 3. Our interactive radio allows users to scan the airwaves to hear Midge selling everything from tampons to cars to cigarettes for pregnant women.
Designed with a modular interface for total flexibility, the site also enabled Amazon to add new content over time, showcasing the latest Emmy nominations, behind-the-scenes videos, costume sketches, photos from the set, or upcoming events.
Building excitement for the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards, we designed social assets to promote the show, driving visitors and voters to the website to experience the show in time for awards season.
